In case you are familiar with this block, it is basically a half-square triangle with a square centered on one of the triangles. To piece it traditionally, you would have to cut two different sizes of triangles, deal with bias edges, and hope for the best.

With the Cat’s Cradle Tool, three rectangles and two squares is all you need to cut to create two blocks! And, since the block is trimmed after cutting, sewing and pressing, they are all the exact same size for perfection is guaranteed!
