AccuQuilt Best Practices Class with Letitia Mattu



Who is this class is for? This class is for new AccuQuilt owners, for those who have had their machines for a while, but would like additional instruction, AND for those who are thinking about buying an AccuQuilt. So … Unpack (or dust off) your AccuQuilt GO!, and bring it to class for a great beginner (or refresher) class that will teach you (or remind you) of all of the wonderful things you can do with your AccuQuilt GO! cutter! We’ll cover how to use your AccuQuilt cutter for optimal results, as well as how to keep it clean and in top working order! Make the most of the tools you own by attending this class.

 

Supplies:

  • Bring YOUR AccuQuilt GO! Cutter (GO! Big electric, GO!, or Baby/Me)
  • AccuQuilt Dies: Bring two or three of your own dies that you’d like help using, plus the mats you need for them (PLEASE label your dies)*
  • Approximately 2 yards of fabric. Bring a combination of:

o   Fabric Scraps

o   Fat quarters

o   ½ yard cut (if you’d like to practice using a strip die)

  • Fusible web (less than ½ yard will be enough)
  • Cutting mat and rotary cutter with a good blade (one is available for the class to share)
  • 24” rotary cutting ruler
  • Scissors
  • Paper and pen for taking notes
  • Die pick

*NOTE: We will have a few shop dies available for you to try.
