This cutie of a box bag is a modified pattern based on Sara Lawson of Sew Sweetness’ free Windsor Pouch pattern and finishes at 8.5” long by 5” high by 4 ¾” deep.  The box bag is great for storing sewing notions, school supplies, or cosmetics.

Supplies

• 1/3yard exterior fabric (1/2 yard for directional fabric)
• 1/3 yard lining  fabric (1/2 yard for directional fabric)
• 2/3 yard 20” wide Shape Flex (Pellon SF-101)
• (2)  18” x 12” pieces of foam interfacing or 1 package of 18” x 58’ Bosal In-R-Form
• (1) 14” zipper
• Matching 40 weight sewing thread for sewing and top stitching

Notions

• Pins or Wonder Clips
• Iron and Pressing Mat
• Pressing cloth
• Rotary Cutter and Cutting Mat
• Scissors (cloth and paper)
• Sewing machine in good working order and basic sewing supplies (power cord, foot petal, bobbins, ect)
• Quarter Inch and Zipper feet for sewing machine
• Chalk or disappearing Ink Fabric Marker
  
• Seam Ripper
