Stitching Foundations- Beginning Quilting on Domestic with Cris Roach
This hands-on class is designed for quilters new to free-motion quilting or those seeking to build confidence in their skills. Participants will learn the fundamentals of free-motion quilting, including machine set up, essential techniques, and basic designs.
Supplies Needed
Sewing machine in good working order, with the ability to drop or cover feed dogs, and any free motion foot attachments.
Quilt Sandwich- Prebasted or fused- NO PINS
18"x18" Light Solid or Light Tone-on-tone print for Top Fabric
19"x19" Lightweight Batting
20"x20" Backing Fabric
Water Soluble Fabric Marker
Thread- Cris recommends Glide thread in Cool Gray 3
Quilting Gloves- Cris recommends Machingers
All registered participants will also receive the Class Kit with a custom fabric panel sandwich with batting and backing fabric, class handouts, sheet protector, and dry erase marker.
