Ramble is a 12 month Block of the Month program that begins in February 2026! This amazing quilt features the beautifully rich fabrics of the Artisan Cottons collection designed by Another Point of View for Windham Fabrics. These amazing Artisan Cotton fabrics come in rich jewel tones and the cross-weave creates visual depth of color and a lovely drape.

The Ramble Block of the Month is the perfect way to explore a beautiful harmony of colors and values, with a modern twist. This modern medallion-style quilt is built one section at a time—perfect for growing your skills or simply enjoying a creative rhythm throughout the year.

Whether you're a confident beginner or a seasoned quilter, each month introduces a new technique, color story, and design element that adds up to a vibrant and cohesive finished quilt.

Techniques include traditional piecing, strip piecing, gentle curves, and an easy no-tear paper piecing method.

With a full compliment of video tutorials and online learning support for all the BOM participants, Tara will share her tips and tricks for each step of the way, ensuring everyone has a great time and comes away with a beautiful quilt!

Facts about the program:

Program begins in February 2026 with the first fabric pack. Following monthly packs will be available for pick up (or mailed to you) on the 2nd Saturday of every month.

Registration fee is $30.00 now to reserve your spot and pre-order your pattern book. Monthly fee for the block kits each month for 12 months is $26.50 plus optional shipping.

Each month's block pack will include the fabrics for that month's section of the quilt, and instructions. By the end of the program you will have all the fabrics (and if you worked along each month) for a completed quilt top including binding. (Backing fabric is not included)

• January 2026: Intro + Supplies videos (no sewing yet)
• February 2026 – January 2027: Monthly sewing begins!

Each month, you'll sew a different section of the quilt. Some months include prep work for upcoming rounds to help keep the process enjoyable and manageable.

• May: 9-Patch row
• Jun: Big X rows
• Jul: Half Square Triangle rows
• Aug: Little Stars rows
• Sep: Little X rows
• Oct: Hourglass row
• Nov: Polygon row
• Dec: Flowers row
• Jan 2027: Cones row + finishing touches

Available in your membership to this BOM program you will have access to a year of video tutorials and support hosted monthly by Tara. They will include tips, tricks and technique demos, and an area to leave comments and ask questions. videos will be released monthly starting in January 2026. And at the 12th month tips will be offered for constructing and finishing the quilt.
Spring Water Designs will offer some optional open studio dates throughout the year for anyone wanting assistance locally.

With each of our block of the month programs, we keep a credit card number on file for you, and your card will be charged each month once that month's fabric pack is available. With your registration you are committing to purchase the monthly kits for the entire quilt. Work at your own pace! All of our BOM participants receive assistance as needed.  We include Free sew dates throughout the year when you can come and and work on your project, and we offer other discounts and perks to participants along the way :)
