The pattern contains directions for multiple size quilts. The class project is the 31” x 48” wallhanging.  Store sample is this size. You will learn how to cut and piece the quilt top in class.

Supplies

1-1/2 yards large print fabric *

1-1/2 yards contrasting solid or almost solid fabric (Moda Grunge works well)

1-1/2 yards backing fabric

36 x 54 piece of cotton batting (Dream Cotton, Warm and Natural good choices)

Cotton thread to blend with your fabrics

Sewing machine in good working order with walking foot

Sewing machine manual

24” or larger cutting mat

Rotary cutter with a sharp blade

6” x 24” non-slip acrylic ruler

Straight pins

Small scissors, seam ripper, tape measure

Curved quilt basting pins

Small iron and an ironing surface to use at your place

Your lunch and a drink

*A  24” wide x 42” long vertical panel can also be used. If using a panel you will need 1/8 of a yard of a different fabric for the accent border.
