Convergence 2 Quilt Class with Barbara Dahlberg
Learn this technique made popular by Ricky Tims. Use novelty fabrics and add borders for a colorful wall hanging. Or make yours with hand dyed fabrics for a blended look that makes a great background for applique. Easy and fun for beginners and experienced stitchers.

Two fat quarters of fabric. Batiks recommended as these are easier to work with and you can use both sides to give more options. Bring two contrasting fabrics that have an overall color or print. Fabrics should NOT be similar in appearance or be large scale prints.

want help to decide.

24” acrylic ruler
Purple Thang, stylys, or pencil with Eraser
Thread to blend with your fabrics
Fabric marker or pencil that will show on your fabric
Straight pins
Sewing machine in good working order with ¼” piecing foot
