Taking it to the Next Level All Day Hands-on Workshop with Leigh Zipf!
This class is one of four full days of Hands-on classes with Handi Quilter National Educator, Leigh Zipf! Plus we'll be having a weekend of Amazing Prices on new and Demo machine packages, and product discounts on accessories and gadgets!
This is a full day class, learning and stitching all day on Handi Quilter Amara machines! Register right away as space is limited ~ there will be up to two students on each machine for a day of amazing hands-on learning :)
In this workshop Leigh will help you take your longarm quilting to the next level exploring topics including the following:
Beyond the Basics Background Fills that includes building a library of designs you can use with confidence. You’ll identify shapes you already love to quilt, learn how to create pathways to connect designs, and explore using different threads to really make your background fill quilting pop.
Mandalas are a fun trend in quilting today. We'll explore ways to build these beautiful designs using symmetry, starting with a doodle.
With Orange Peel quilting you'll take a classic design – the orange peel – and spice it up! You’ll learn how to add creative designs to jazz up this basic quilting design.
Finally if you're looking for more fun projects to do from start to finish on the longarm you'll love this topic ~ We'll finish the afternoon learning how to applique on the longarm using different techniques :)
All class materials will be provided. There will be a break for lunch.
