Mimi Dietrich 2023 Year Long Baltimore Applique Class
Mimi Dietrich herself will walk you through every step of the process from selecting fabrics to making your heirloom Baltimore Applique Quilt. The class will meet once a month for an entire year, plus an orientation session in the beginning to aid in choosing your fabrics and materials. Mimi will teach you all her tips and methods for Baltimore Applique that include wreaths, baskets, birds, perfect berries & leaves, Rouched Roses, embellishing and inking to personalize your masterpiece in the Baltimore Applique style. This class is suitable for all levels of quilters :)
The Class will begin with an Orientation session on November 12th, 2022 from 2pm-4pm.
Then the monthly class will meet on the Second Saturday of each month from 1:00 - 3:30 p.m. starting on January 14th, 2023.
Mimi will make suggestions and guide you at the Orientation session that will prepare you for the class and give you all the information you will need to be ready for the first class in January 2023.
In the event of any inclement weather that may cancel a class session during the year, January 13th 2024 is reserved as a make up date.
Supply List packet will be handed out and explained at the November Orientation session
The Book Baltimore Basics by Mimi Dietrich is required for this class and will be available for purchase at Spring Water Designs. Let us know if you need a book, or already have one.
