Moving on with Pro-Stitcher Virtual Class with HQ Educator Diane Henry



Spring Water Designs is hosting a series of virtual longarm classes on various Friday afternoons from March through June with National Educators (more classes are being added all the time)! Check out our Calendar Page for other Zoom classes available with Handi Quilter teachers that you can register for, and sit back and learn right in your own home :)

This is a virtual class, live with Handi Quilter National Educator, Diane Henry via Zoom. You'll need to have a computer, tablet or IPad that can connect to the internet with a camera to participate. We will send a link to the Zoom class and instructions ahead of time so you can enter the class. Let us know if you have any questions.
Special discounts will be available on Handi Quilter machines, items, and store products to all class attendees!

Class Description:

Note ~ A basic understanding of Pro-Stitcher is needed for students to get the most from this class. It's recommended to take the Introduction to Pro-Stitcher Class offered on April 16th (or have equivalent experience)

Ready to expand your Pro-Stitcher knowledge?  We’ll tackle borders, sashing and corners with the great features found in Pro-Stitcher.  Making designs fit in any block shape is a breeze with all of our great Skew options.  You can even create your own designs using all the great functions in Record. Diane will teach you the techniques to truly customize your quilting!

Topics Include:

Managing sashings, borders and corners

Skewing into any size or shape

Quilting areas larger than the throat-space of your machine

Cropping, rotating and resizing for customization

Creating your own designs with Mark and Record

Instructor Bio:
Diane Henry has been working with fabric since her grandmother taught her how to hand piece her first nine-patch block at age four. A blue ribbon winning hand quilter, she discovered machine quilting in the late 1990?s and has never looked back.

Diane loves sharing her passion for machine quilting with others around the world. She works with quilting groups and shops leading classes for beginners and advanced quilters and organizing workshops; conducts lectures, classes and demonstrations at quilt shows; and serves as one of the moderators of the Pro-Stitcher? Yahoo group, supporting Pro-Stitcher owners.

A professional machine quilter since 2007, Diane purchased her first longarm, an HQ Sixteen with Pro-Stitcher in 2008. She now uses an HQ Infinity with Pro-Stitcher and an HQ Sweet Sixteen to further expand her creative options.

Diane lives in Northern Virginia with her husband, Terry and dachshunds, Senya and JJ.
