Trip Around the Sun Block of the Month Registration
This listing is for the non-refundable registration fee to enroll you in the Trip Around the Sun Block of the Month designed by Material Girlfriends Designs.
Trip Around the Sun is a 12 month Block of the Month program that begins in October 2020! This beautiful quilt features the colorful new Primo Batiks from Marcus Brothers Textiles.
Facts about the program::
Program begins in October with the first block, and blocks will be available for pick up on the First Saturday of every month.
This Block of the Month also includes a monthly "Technique Talk" Demo on the First Saturday of the month pick up day at either 2:00 or 3:00 p.m. (This is optional and will be about a half hour in length) Anyone who can't come at one of these times, can pick up their block any time on the First Saturday of the month or after.
Registration fee is $20.00 now to reserve your spot and pre-order your pattern. Monthly fee for the block kits each month for 12 months is $22.50 plus optional shipping.
Each month's block kit will include the fabrics for that month's section of the quilt, and instructions. By the end of the program you will have all the fabrics (and if you worked along each month) for a completed quilt top including borders and binding. (Backing fabric is not included)
Finished size of the quilt is approx. 60" x 60"
With each of our block of the month programs, we keep a credit card number on file for you, and you card will be charged each month once that month's block is available. You are committing to purchase the monthly kits for the entire quilt. Work at your own pace! All of our BOM participants receive assistance as needed. We include Free sew dates throughout the year when you can come and and work on your project, and we offer other discounts and perks to participants along the way :)
