Note: there is a $7.00 kit fee payable to the teacher at the day of the class that will include the pattern for this project

Students should also bring to Class:
- Add a Quarter ruler

- Plastic template sheet: cut a 4” x 12” (or the width of the plastic template) rectangle

- Sewing machine, foot pedal, electrical power cord

- Open Toe or Applique foot for sewing machine

- Seam roller

- Neutral thread- Cream or White

- Notions - scissors, seam ripper, cutting mat, acrylic rulers, rotary cutter, fabric glue stick, pins, clips, any other notions you normally bring for classes

Fabrics:

- 1/2 yd. coordinating tone on tone for backing, binding, and sleeve

- 1/4 yd. white tone on tone for background

- 1/4 yd. tone on tone purple for flower and side borders

- Fat quarter of yellow tone on tone for the flower, sashing strips, and top & bottom borders

OR (3) 2 1/2” squares of yellow tone on tone for the flower and (4) 1 1/2” x 6 1/2” rectangles for sashing strips and top & bottom borders

For this project please do not consider directional fabric. We will concentrate on the technique and directional fabric creates additional instruction not recommended for beginner paper piecing.
