Beyond Meandering: Other Ways to Fill Your Quilt Event Class with Lana Russell

Is Meandering your go-to free-motion quilting design? Are you ready to try something new? With Handi Quilter National Educator Lana Russell we'll explore other basic background designs, including continuous curve, straight lines, and crosshatching. Learning how to quilt these designs continuously gives you a whole new collection of designs to use for backgrounds, fills and texture on all your quilting projects. From large to small scale, we'll explore how these great designs can spice up your next quilt.

Class Topics Include:
Choosing background fills to accent your design
Create extra texture with creative fills
Try out patterns large to small
Use a grid to keep your pattern consistent
Adjustable handlebars and HQ Micro Handles on movable longarms tips and trick

There are four different classes available with Lana Russell during our Spring Handi Quilter Event Weekend May 30th - 31st. Register for one or all four of them ~ All skill levels are welcome, and you don't have to own a longarm to attend.

These classes are Lecture/Demo with some hands-on time on our full line of HQ Frame & Stationary Longarms.
