Poison Bottle Quilt Workshop with Misty Cole
The Poison Bottle quilt workshop taught by Misty Cole of Pick Your Brain Designs
This is a day-long workshop in which students will learn all the necessary techniques for completing the Poison Bottle quilt. Students may choose to complete a wall hanging or table runner instead of a full sized quilt.
Patterns are included with the cost of the workshop.
Each block is made with fusible applique, and then embellished if desired. The blocks lend themselves to many creative interpretations. Fabrics can be chosen to duplicate the historical bottles as closely as possible; or you could design your own surfaces before cutting bottle shapes; or they can be simple, bright silhouettes. Misty will guide you through the many options to help you design your quilt.
