Morning Glory Quilt Class with Suzzie Schuyler
This stunning quilt will be a keeper on your favorite wall for everyone to see. This quilt uses the paper piecing technique to get those perfect points as well as piecing techniques. You will make each block in the quilt during the class and know how to construct the quilt so it can easily be completed. Any level quilter is invited to take this fun class.

Supply List:
-1 1/2 yd. White tone on tone
-1 yd. dark purple tone on tone
-1 1/8 yd. light purple tone on tone
-1/8 yd. dark green tone on tone
-1 yd. light green tone on tone
-48” square of batting
-48” square of backing
-1/2 yd. binding
-Bloc-Loc rulers for squaring up or your favorite square rulers for squaring up blocks
- Your favorite tool for making Half Square Triangle
- Foundation Papers for paper piecing
-Add-A-Quarter ruler, plastic sheet, rotary cutter, and cutting mat for paper piecing
-Rotary cutter, acrylic rulers (I suggest an 8 1/2” x 24” and 6 1/2” x 12”), and cutting mat
-Routine sewing supplies and matching threads/neutral thread for sewing
-Sewing machine in good working order, foot pedal, power cord, and manual
-Open toe foot
-Iron and ironing mat
-Morning Glory Pattern
NOTE FOR CLASS PREP: Using the pattern, Morning Glory, students need to make copies of the paper-pieced patterns; (4) Center blocks; (8) Corner of the Friendship Bouquet Blocks; and the (32) Border blocks (6 copies of the border sheet) before class and bring all of the paper pieced patterns to the class. Labels for the cut squares and rectangles are included in thepattern so you can use them when cutting the pieces for the quilt.
