This workshop can be a follow-up to BALTIMORE GARDEN PRIMROSE VASE (Class 1), or can be taken as a separate workshop by itself. A few years ago after learning about the centuries old Japanese art of flower arranging known as Ikebana at a museum exhibition, Barbara began using some of the principles of this wonderful art form for floral applique quilts. She calls these Quilt Ikebana. In this class you'll receive a brief introduction to Ikebana and you will construct an arrangement from fabric based on the principles. Sunday, June 25th noon - 4:00.
